Mystery #1

At a North Texas school
where monsignors rule,
at the corner where John and Tom meet,
there's an arch and swirl,
duck feathers unfurled,
and a tree that appears to have feet.
You should sit in the bricks
of a strange swirling mix
and look for multiple trunks.
Among them you'll find
neither pennies nor dimes,
but a treasure in much larger hunks.

Whatever you guys want to do. Pretty soon we'll have alliances and tribes and council fires...

If you have the school and the corner, then you must venture forth, my son. The rest will be revealed to you when you arrive.
Seriously, if you guys have that much figured out, I'm guessing it's going to be the first one who drives there will get it.
(Another tip: take the clue with you when you go so you don't forget what it says.)

What a fun idea. We are working as a family on this. After watching "National Treasure" last night, will this clue lead to another clue, and another clue...

OK, fellas. You guys started out great guns but no one has finished the job yet. I'm going out of town for two days and when I return, I expect one of you to be $20 richer.

We have a winner! Andy was only in town for the weekend, but he managed to find the money. Look for more spine-tingling treasure hunts coming to this blog soon!
